Top 5 most ridiculous baby products

So a friend just had a baby a few weeks ago and the hubby and I are looking for the perfect baby gift.  While poking around online, we came across some crazy, ridiculous gifts that I had to share!!

Baby-Mop $45

Seriously, I couldn't even make this up - it is an actual product that you can buy!  Better than the Roomba - doesn't ever need a battery changed or to be charged - just a periodic diaper change!

The Baby Keeper $39

This just feels so wrong - So you are in Target, you had a little too much coffee and need to use the little girls room, like now!  Problem - what do you do with the woober (our name for baby).  DUH, you hang them in the Baby Keeper over the side of the stall!  This gives me heart palpitations on SO many levels!!

Grillz Pacifier $7

"My baby needs a grill"..... said no one ever.

Pee-Pee Teepee $10

So I have three boys and trust me I have been peed on more than my fair share of times, but seriously.... ever hear of a wash cloth??  Covers that weapon just fine!!!

Zaky Infant Pillow $35

This is so creepy and so wrong - I seriously contemplated even using this in the post.  The Zaky Infant Pillow simulates the touch, weight and feel of a pair of hands.  I am sure to wake up tonight having a nightmare of armless hands grabbing at me.

For the record - we bought none of these!  Our friends will have to be happy with a cute outfit from Baby Gap :).

  1. Thanks for the laugh. The last one I could see parents buying, I guess. But, i am not a parent, so...what do I know? lol. The hanging baby scares me! I just know he's going to fall!

  3. The Zaky Infant Pillow was actually invented by a mother for her NICU child and then for all the NICU children of the hospital she had her child at. While the Pillow stands in as a sterile and available tool for babies for feel like they are being held and stimulated without all the available hands to do it. Just thought I would let you know where that one comes from. They found that the babies in the NICU made remarkable strides with them and they have been found in many NICU's across the country! =)
